Product Overview
The ESD wrist strap is the most fundamental and widely used tool for personal ESD grounding. It creates a reliable low-impedance path from the operator's skin, through the wrist strap and coiled cord (with built-in 1 MΩ protection resistor), to the common point ground. The 1 MΩ resistor is a critical safety feature — it limits current to safe levels in the event of accidental contact with hazardous voltages while still providing effective ESD dissipation.
Propack supplies wrist straps in a wide range of styles: adjustable metal band, elastic fabric band, and slim profile. Coiled cords are available in 4-ft, 6-ft, and 10-ft extended lengths for bench-mounted and standing operator positions. We also supply dual-wire wrist straps for continuous monitoring systems and common-point ground blocks for shared workstation grounding.
