Product Overview
Propack's ESD PCB Storage Trolleys are designed to safely store, transport, and stage printed circuit boards (PCBs) across SMT lines, assembly stations, and QC areas. Constructed from conductive polypropylene (surface resistivity 10⁴–10⁶ Ω), the trolleys provide a Faraday-cage-like environment, protecting sensitive PCBs from electrostatic discharge throughout their handling lifecycle.
Each trolley features a rigid steel frame with powder-coated conductive finish, conductive PP slot dividers, lockable castors with conductive wheels, and a push handle for ergonomic operation. Standard models accommodate PCBs from 100×100 mm up to 450×500 mm, with slot spacing configurable at 10 mm, 15 mm, or 20 mm increments to suit varying PCB thicknesses including populated boards with tall components.
Key Features
Conductive PP Construction
All board-contact surfaces are made from conductive polypropylene (10⁴–10⁶ Ω), preventing charge generation or accumulation on stored boards.
Adjustable Slot Spacing
Reconfigurable dividers at 10, 15, or 20 mm pitch allow the same trolley to handle both bare boards and fully populated PCBs with heatsinks.
Conductive Castors
Lockable 75 mm dia. conductive rubber castors maintain continuity between the trolley frame and the ESD floor, ensuring a complete discharge path at all times.
Custom Board Sizes
Standard range: 100×100 mm to 450×500 mm. Custom trolleys for oversize boards (e.g., server motherboards up to 600×600 mm) available on request.
Label / Barcode Holder
Front-facing label holders on each slot tier for routing cards, job numbers, or barcode labels for WIP tracking and production line traceability.
Tool-Free Assembly
Snap-fit slot inserts are removable and rearrangeable without tools in under 2 minutes, enabling rapid line changeovers between PCB product families.

Applications
How to Select the Right Trolley
- 1
Measure Your PCB
Note the maximum board dimensions (L×W) and the tallest populated component height across all SKUs you need to store.
- 2
Choose Slot Pitch
Add 5 mm clearance to component height to determine minimum slot pitch. Select 10, 15, or 20 mm accordingly.
- 3
Calculate Capacity
Estimate peak WIP volume (boards in transit at any one time) and divide by the number of trolleys to determine slots-per-trolley required.
- 4
Verify ESD Path
Confirm your EPA floor system resistance allows continuity through the conductive castors (floor–castor–frame–slot chain must be <10⁹ Ω).
- 5
Order & Validate
Receive trolley, verify resistance top-to-castor with a surface resistance meter, log the result in your ESD audit records, and deploy.
